Introducing the 2013 Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai Elantra In this day and age we have seen manufacturers take a "go big or go home" attitude with their new cars and it seems that the 2013 Hyundai Elantra has the same mindset. What was once known as a below average compact vehicle in the past has finally transformed into one of the better choices in its class.

The new Elantra hits the market with a ton of outstanding features, an amazing look, and great fuel economy that people have become to enjoy about this auto. Hyundai has also added two additional body styles in the coupe and GT hatchback to their line up which are both set to be very successful on the market.

2013 Hyundai Elantra The 2013 Hyundai Elantra is also affordable at a base price of $16,695 while offering a number of standard features such as heated mirrors, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and an iPod input. Consumers can also choose the Hyundai Elantra Coupe which is only slightly higher at $17,445 or the Hyundai Elantra GT can be purchased for $18,395 at any local dealership.

Only the sedan and Coupe will be available in other trims with include a GLS PZEV and Limited, and Limited PZEV trim for the sedan, and a GS PZEV, SE, and SE PZEV for the Coupe. The PZEV models offer slightly less horsepower and torque, while only being sold in states that also carry California emissions.

Each of the different models that Hyundai has produced are powered by a 1.8L four-cylinder engine that allows them to put out 29 city miles per gallon and an outstanding 40 highway mpg. This is one of the more attractive selling points for the Elantra line as there are not too many cheap new cars that also have great fuel economy and other great marks for it.

Of course Hyundai will have some competition as there are other compact vehicles that have been redesigned from Honda, Ford and Mazda, but the Elantra is still worth a consideration.
